2024

The RoboDragons were honored to be able to travel to Houston for Championships and meet FIRST teams from around the world. Our robot, RoboBaggins, competed with some of the best robots, and our team members got to talk, strategize, and even collect souvenirs from international FIRST teams. However, we also collected memories and experiences that our team members will take into the next season, and we hope to be an even better team next year!

Our First Finals

After our first victory in finals against Alliance 2, we could only hope to perform well in our second finals. If we lost this match, our chances of winning the Smoky Mountains Regionals would be on the line. Thanks to our driver and co-driver's extraordinary defense skills, we were able to slow down the other team's scoring cycles. We came up victorious in this match, and our alliance won the entire regional competition!

Our team is still in disbelief that after over a decade of building robots, we finally won Smoky Mountains Regional! From Freshmen to Seniors to Robodragons alumni, we were all cheering, clapping, and crying tears of joy that our little team made it to the ranks of the best robots of Tennessee!

We are so thankful to our fearless alliance leaders, Horsepower (801), and our amazing teammates, Cyber Tribe (4020), for making this win possible!
